Volunteers enable Parallel Justice to better meet the needs of victims of crime in Burlington. They are core to the continued success of our project.
Parallel Justice volunteers help out by calling victims of crime, listening to their needs and concerns, providing emotional support, and offering resources through the Parallel Justice Victim Fund/Resource Bank and other community agencies.
Volunteers are currently needed to work out of the Burlington Police Department for a minimum of 2 hours a week. Parallel Justice provides orientation and training for all volunteers.
For more information on applying to be a volunteer, contact Clark at the Burlington Police Department.
